SUSTAINABLE LANDSCAPE DESIGN FOR THE HOMEOWNER 5:30 p.m., Tuesdays, Feb. 13, 20, 27 This is a comprehensive overview of the process of sustainable landscape design and organic gardening practices. We will use concepts such as right plant/right place, shading out weeds with ground covers, use of hardy natives, installing rain gardens and rain barrels. Every week includes a PowerPoint presentation of landscape projects, design solutions, favorite plants, succession of bloom, favorite trees, shrubs and perennials.
