MT. LEBANON RESIDENT LAUNCHES NEW NON-ALCOHOLIC CRAFT BEER BRAND
Mike Poggi is changing the conversation around non-alcoholic beer with the launch of Virtue Signal Brewing Co., a craft brewery focused on delivering bold flavor without the alcohol.
Dissatisfied with existing N. A. options, Poggi developed a specialized brewing process designed to create full-bodied, craft-quality beers from the start.
The company’ s first three offerings— a West Coast-style IPA, Belgian-style wheat, and vanilla porter-style brew— are now available at select local restaurants and beer distributors, including several locations in Mt. Lebanon.
Virtue Signal aims to appeal to craft beer enthusiasts looking for a premium nonalcoholic option that doesn’ t compromise on taste or character.
MT. LEBANON PHYSICIAN PUBLISHES FIFTH BOOK
Steven Orebaugh, a UPMC anesthesiologist and Navy veteran, recently released his fifth book,“ The Six- Lined Racerunner.”
This memoir reflects on his childhood growing up near a U. S. Air Force base in Spain, where he navigated the challenges of adolescence while developing a passion for biology that would eventually lead to a career in medicine.
The coming-of-age story explores themes of self-discovery, perseverance and leadership, offering readers a personal look at the experiences that helped shape both his military service and medical career.
SECOND ANNUAL SOUTH HILLS JEWISH FESTIVAL
The second annual South Hills Jewish Festival will celebrate Jewish life and culture on Sunday, Aug. 2, from 1 to 4 p. m. at Chabad of the South Hills, located at 1700 Bower Hill Road. The familyfriendly event will feature a live concert by Chassidic singer Berel Faiden, along with cultural crafts, kosher food, kosher wine tasting, a fun zone, petting zoo and activities for all ages. MT. LEBANON SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1976 REUNION

UPCOMING EVENT WITH THE PITTSBURGH ROSE SOCIETY
The Pittsburgh Rose Society will host an event celebrating the beauty of roses that is free and open to the public. The David McKibben Rose Expo will take place on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 1 to 3 p. m at the Whitehall Borough Building Community Room, offering visitors a chance to enjoy stunning displays and learn more about rose growing and care.
JOIN THE WOMEN’ S GOLF LEAGUE OF MT. LEBANON
The Women’ s Golf League of Mt. Lebanon is inviting women of all ages and skill levels to join for the 2026 season, which began in April and continues through September.
Applicants should have some knowledge of the game and its rules prior to joining.
The league plays nine holes on Tuesday mornings, teeing off between 7:15 and 9:30 a. m., with a host there to assist in creating foursomes.
