Spark a Reaction Teen Summer Reading

Nationwide Teen Lock-In

Come to the library after hours to “Spark a
Reaction” at the annual National Teen Lockin. At participating libraries, teens all over
the country are having lock-ins to celebrate
the collaborative teen summer reading
theme “Spark a Reaction.” Activities to be
announced… Skype author visits, crafts,
gaming and plenty of food! Registration
limited and will open at the start of the
summer reading program in June.

Star Wars Day 1 – 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug 16
Join us for our third annual Star Wars Day on Saturday, August 16th, from 1-3:30 p.m.
This is a free program, no registration required.
Event Schedule:
1 - 2 p.m.: Build your own lightsaber and other themed crafts in Meeting Room A and
the Children’s Library. Enjoy refreshments in Admiral Ackbar’s Snackbar in Meeting
Room B.
2 - 3 p.m.: Join the costumed Star Wars villains of the 501st Legion’s Garrison Carida for
a trivia contest with prizes! In Meeting Room A.
3 - 3:30 p.m.: Photo opportunities with Star Wars villains.
