This event is a beloved community festival with the tight-knit feel of a small town . This festival is a three-day community tradition that offers food , craft vendors , children ’ s activities , a parade , and contests . Musical entertainment will include performances by Black Dog Hollow , the Canon-McMillan Steel Drum Band , and Ashley Mullens . Admission is free . Proceeds benefit the Houston Volunteer Fire Department .
