WHAT ’ S THE BIG BREWHAHA ?
The Hollow Oak Land Trust will sponsor its 6th Annual Brewhaha on
March 26 at the Mayernik Center at Avonworth Community Park on Camp Horne Road . This event features 10 of Pittsburgh ’ s finest craft brewers , along with a five-course pairings menu by Chef Chas Smith .

The Hollow Oak Land Trust is in its 30th year of protecting and connecting greenspace in our area . Take a look at some of the things that were accomplished through the organization in the last year …
• Construction of a 200-foot trail bridge linking the Montour Trail with Montour Woods and Moon Township Park .
• The purchase of the former Nike missile base , which added more than 20 acres to Montour Woods .
• A donation agreement was made to conserve nearly 50 acres in the Thorn Run stream valley .
Hollow Oak Land Trust also provided programs and activities to boost local land conservation and stewardship . Hundreds of “ Trail Luv Mondays ” volunteers came together from March through October to build and maintain trails and to plant trees . There were also Tuesday Nature Hikes to provide lowimpact excursions to learn more about flora , fauna and ecology .

Iglesias ,” the Netflix original comedy series currently streaming seasons 1-3 . He is also producing two stand-up comedy specials with Netflix and has appeared in the feature films “ Magic Mike ,” “ Magic Mike XXL ,” and “ A Haunted House 2 .”
THE BLACK DOG WINE COMPANY DOG PARK AT MOON PARK FUNDRAISER
Do you love dogs ? Do you like wine ? Then this event is your kind of place . An indoor-outdoor , early-evening fundraiser will feature hors d ’ oeuvres , appetizers , wine and non-alcoholic beverages , a DJ for entertainment , raffles , giveaways , shopping and more .
The attire will be business casual and proceeds benefit the new Black Dog Wine Company Dog Park , located at Moon Park , which opens this spring , and Canine Service Pals , a nonprofit organization that trains dogs for children and adults with disabilities .
