15th Annual ‘Tour the Montour’ Trail Ride

The 15th Annual Tour the Montour continues the tradition as one of
western Pennsylvania’s finest fall rides. For men, women, and children,
it includes rides of 6, 15, 24, 44, and 62 miles on the beautiful Montour
Trail. The ride has become well-known for its sumptuous lunch as well
as its unique t-shirts. (T-shirts are only guaranteed for riders who pre-

Race to the Moon: 2nd Annual Mountain Bike Race

Race for local greenspace! Founded in 1991, the Hollow Oak
Land Trust is a nonprofit conservation organization that protects
and connects greenspace with an emphasis on the Pittsburgh Airport
Corridor. Hollow Oak now owns five conservation areas totaling
over 400 acres in Moon, Kennedy, Franklin Park, North Fayette and
Hopewell. The First Annual Race to the Moon attracted 118 racers and
lots of family, friends and volunteers who cheered them on at Moon
