‘Tis the Season
with MAC
M
onroeville Arts Council is offering a Holiday Craft
Workshop—but not just an ordinary craft workshop!
On Saturday, Nov. 16, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the
Monroeville Public Library Program Room, all
interested persons may enjoy creative time making items from
a myriad of materials provided free of charge. Beads, colorful
cardstock paper, live greens, recycled jewelry, ribbons and more
allow participants freedom to design gifts just in time for the
upcoming holiday season!
A wide assortment of beautiful projects worthy of gifting to the
most discriminating recipient will be part of the lineup. Materials
to create a series of ornaments, gift bags and tags, jewelry,
magnets, decorative items and many more exciting objects will be
made available for those attending that afternoon.
The workshop continues to evolve and adds new offerings each
year. Persons who have suggestions for additional possibilities to
enrich the craft event may call Nancy at 412.373.0711.
Throughout the year, MAC has offered many additional perks
for those who follow this local arts group, including two painting
workshops, community concerts in July, a Kids’ Art in the Park
event in June, Gateway High School Senior awards and support
for Sunrise School—all events open and held at no charge to the
public.
Monroeville Arts Council is dedicated to enriching the
cultural climate of our community throughout the year. Consider
supporting this group of inspired volunteers! Check our website
at monroevilleartscouncil.org and Facebook for additional details
on how you can make a difference in the community to promote
the arts!
Monroeville Arts Council is a 501(c)(3) organization.
