by the Recreation Department, enter the
Gingerbread House contest, visit with
Santa, make holiday crafts, enjoy delicious
food and drinks, celebrate Murrysville
as S.L.A.M. volunteers place luminaries
around the letter “M” of the Murrysville tree
sign, and more! The program is supported
by the Sportsmen’s and Landowners
Alliance of Murrysville, the Murrysville
Historical Society, the Murrysville Parks
and Recreation Commission and many
community businesses that help to make

to Santa: Little boys and girls can send a
letter to Santa and receive a reply! Drop-
off boxes are located in the Monroeville
Recreation Dept. and Monroeville Public
Library. Snacks with Santa: Every child
will have an opportunity to talk to Santa
and give him their wish list. A snack will
be provided! Gingerbread House Contest:
Kids and adults – explore your talents and
challenge your imaginations! The contest
is divided into two groups: adults, and kids
ages 7 to 16. Monroeville’s 31st Annual
Holiday Light Contest: All Monroeville
residents are invited to participate.
5th Annual Soup for a Claus

Soup for a Claus is a soup crawl through
downtown Greensburg. Visit local retailers
and sample delicious soups from various
local Greensburg restaurants. This is the
perfect afternoon out to shop, eat, laugh,

are $15 each. Children 5 and under are
free. All proceeds benefit Operation Santa
Claus.
