Whether you’ re a new arrival or a lifelong resident, the library is here to enrich your everyday experience.

It’ s always a good day when someone comes in to sign up for a new library card— but for the staff at Monroeville Public Library, it can be a little extra-special when a visitor is also new to the area.

These resources include access to one of the library’ s newer initiatives: the Library of Things. From wrench and screwdriver sets to circuit and stud finders, this ever-growing array of tools is perfect for anyone( newly arrived or long to the area) looking to do a bit of home improvement. The Library of Things is constantly growing. In addition to household tools, there are crafting tools, KitchenAid mixers and baking equipment, board games, yard games, toys, and more.
If you’ re waiting for internet installation or cable hook-up, you can check out a hot spot, providing portable internet access. There are also Roku kits available for checkout, with each Roku coming pre-loaded with 2-3 streaming service subscriptions like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus, HBO Max, BritBox, and more.
