ASK THE RECYCLING COORDINATOR:
Q: How can I properly dispose of Household Hazardous Waste
and electronics like televisions and computers in Millcreek
Township? –Brittany P.
A: Please follow the steps below for an efficient pickup:
1
To participate, contact ADVANCED DISPOSAL at 1-844-415-5970 to set up a
collection appointment. A kit, bag, survey, and a special collection date (which
may be different than your normal curbside collection day) will be issued as a
result of this phone call.
2
3
Prepare for the collection by packing the HHW and electronics into the 33-gallon
bag that was mailed to you prior to the pickup. Some bulky items may be
approved to be placed outside the bag.
The kit will be collected at your front door or garage door on a collection day that
may be different than your normal curbside pickup day. DO NOT place HHW or
ELECTRONICS curbside as these may be confused as regular non-hazardous trash
and not recycled properly. Users need not be home during the collection since all
items are left outside.
*This service is available all year-round and there is NO LIMIT to the amount of times a
resident may utilize this program throughout the year!
