SELF- DEFENSE OF TUITE
Instructor: Joe Logue
Tuite( pronounced“ Twee-Tay”) is the origin of many Asian martial arts, including Karate. Unlike modern self-defense methods, Tuite focuses on redirecting an attacker’ s energy, using muscle movements rather than strength or power. It emphasizes natural, biomechanically correct movements, which can be learned by anyone, regardless of age or fitness level. Tuite’ s techniques are taught through traditional katas, allowing students to practice both in class and at home.
