WALKING YOGA
Instructor: Billy Kuntz
The trail walk covers level ground and is mixed with a Vinyasa yoga class focusing on gentle standing postures and flowing movement appropriate for most participants. Students should be able to complete a one and a half mile walk. Students should wear clothes that permit free movement paired with comfortable walking shoes. We will park and meet in the front parking lot of Scott Park near the play equipment and basketball court. Class will meet near the entrance of the Fitness Trail and begin from that trailhead.

CHAIR ASSISTED VINYASA STRETCH
Instructor: Billy Kuntz
This class is designed for minds that want relaxation and bodies that want to be engaged fully. The Chair Assisted program begins with meditation seated in a chair, and builds to standing postures for strength and range of motion. We then returns to chair seated for stretching and rest. Props including the chair are used during our practice for safety and support. This may be a good first step for new yogis, those returning to their regular practice and those that just want a change.

The trail walk takes advantage of the varied terrain in the park and is mixed with a Vinyasa yoga class focusing on strength and balance postures as well as flowing movement appropriate for participants seeking a challenge. Students should be able to complete a one and a half mile walk that includes hills and inclines. Students should wear clothes that permit free movement paired with comfortable walking shoes and a pair of hiking poles( required). We will park and meet in the front parking lot of Scott Park near the play equipment. Class will meet near the entrance of the Fitness Trail and begin from that trailhead. The Multi Level program is designed for minds that want a relaxing experience and bodies that need safe and achievable challenges to strength and range of motion. The Multi Level class allows the student to focus on the breath / movement relationship through the entire practice from meditation to rest. Cues for postures include many levels of modification, allowing the student to feel secure with what their body needs in the moment. Class concludes with restorative yoga postures. Multiple props are incorporated for variety and safety in postures.
Supplies Needed: Yoga mat, two blocks, a bolster or quilt to roll

The holder of this card is entitled to admission to any home athletic event, to all plays and musical productions in the schools of the Millcreek Township School District.
The Millcreek School Board has made Gold Cards available to all Millcreek residents who are 60 years of age or older. These Gold Card holders are entitled to free admission to all HOME athletic events( except for all District 10 post-season events), to all plays and musical productions in the schools of the Millcreek Township School District( except for McDowell Center for Performing Arts dinner theaters), and also to participate without charge( except for materials used or events noted as special events) in any of the programs sponsored by the Millcreek Township Parks and Recreation Department. Gold Card information does not apply to Erie Veterans Stadium, Gannon Hammermill Center and District or Metro meets. Gold Cards can be obtained from the switchboard of the Millcreek Education Center( 3740 West 26th Street) any weekday during the hours of 8am and 4:30pm or from the Parks and Recreation office in the Millcreek Municipal Building. Gold Card Members must register each season before attending their first class. Registration should be mailed in as soon as possible. Limit of three programs per season.
