Sports medicine for athletes and non-athletes At the AHN Pavilion , we help athletes and active adults stay in the game with programs focused on sport-specific training , enhancing performance , and treating injuries . We deliver nonsurgical care for common issues including joint pain , sprains and strains , and hand and upper extremity problems . “ We ’ ll get you in quickly to evaluate you and take a close look at the injury or issue , run diagnostic tests , and then decide if it can be treated nonoperatively with medications , injections , physical therapy , or a home exercise program ,” said Dominic Vanchieri , DO , AHN sports medicine doctor . “ If we need to get you to a physical therapist , we can walk you down the hall .”
