NOT ACCEPTED IN RECYCLING BINS & TOTERS: Plastic Grocery Bags, Clear/Black Plastic

ALL RECYCLING SHOULD BE PLACED LOOSE INTO EITHER 25-GALLON RECYCLE BIN OR 65-GALLON RECYCLE TOTER (NO BAGS)!
At this time, glass is still accepted through Advanced Disposal with the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) in Buffalo, New York.
Glass is crushed and reclaimed as road aggregate.
Millcreek Township’s residential recycling program is always evolving. If any recyclable item were to become an
unacceptable material due to the market supply/demand or contamination issues, the Millcreek Township Recycling
Department will notify residents through the Millcreek website, In Millcreek Magazine, Millcreek Government
Channel, and yearly calendar. For up-to-date information on residential recycling in Millcreek Township, please visit

For Millcreek commercial accounts (apartments, mobile home parks, and businesses) who are not Advanced Disposal
customers, please follow the instructions recently provided by the Erie County Recycling Program. Learn more by visiting

A: The Millcreek Township Recycling Department recommends
several options for those residents looking to keep critters out of
the trash.

Double bag your garbage bags.
Spray Windex or ammonia on or inside your garbage bags.
Add mothballs in and around your garbage bags.
Call Advanced Disposal at 1.844-415.5970 for one FREE
95-gallon trash toter on wheels with a lid. (Not available for
Pay-As-You-Throw “Per Bag” residents)
