Here are some key bullet points to highlight the Millcreek Township Fire Department:
Staffing: At the end of 2025, we totaled with 30 career firefighters along with 20 part-time firefighters across the department. We hired 18 new firefighters in the Spring and Fall months, while promoting three new captains in October.
Vehicle Staffing: The MFD is now staffing four fire engines daily in each district: West Ridge, Kearsarge, West Lake, and Belle Valley, while also cross-staffing an ambulance in Kearsarge.
Personnel: Our department currently 50 employees along with an additional 11 paramedics, including 3 finishing paramedic school and more completing it this fall.
These accomplishments represent a significant milestone for the Millcreek Township Fire Department, as we continue to evolve and improve our services to ensure the safety and well-being of our community.

In 2025, the department responded to a total of 5,416 calls for service. This included 106 fire calls, 3,746 emergency medical calls, 159 hazard condition calls, 245 service calls, 420 false alarms, 702 good intent calls, and 38 special incidents.
