In keeping with the unpredictability of our weather , Winter arrived before the season officially began ! We did prevail , and we can ’ t thank our Township Snow Heroes and those who partnered with us during this epic event ! We ’ ll also acknowledge the random acts of kindness that were displayed during the snowy event . Now , we wholeheartedly welcome Spring , and a fresh start to a new season .

Exciting news from the Millcreek Fire Department ! The SAFER ( Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response ) Grant of $ 5.4 Million Dollars was recently awarded to Millcreek Township . This will allow for the hiring of 15 Firefighters and fully cover their wages and benefits for three full years . Millcreek Township is committed to Public Safety , and this is an example of the recognition by the Federal Government of the need for increasing our Firefighting Staffing through this highly competitive grant program . Speaking of the Fire Department , many area children experienced an unexpected visit from Santa when he stopped at their homes riding on a Fire Engine ! What an exciting time for the kids and parents alike .
The Millcreek Police Department has released their 2024 statistics and are highlighting the ever-popular Holiday events “ Shop with a Hero ” and “ Stuff the Cop Car ”. The Millcreek Township General Authority ( MTGA ) has an update on their activities .
