SPRING 2024 UPDATES
MFD CHIEF CLIFF ON THE FIRST MONTHS OF THE MFD
Here are some key bullet points to highlight the Millcreek Township Fire Department :
Staffing : In December , we introduced full-time staff , ensuring that we have three firefighters on duty 24 / 7 . As of January 1 , we also integrated part-time staff into our ranks , doubling our daily firefighter presence to six Firefighters manning 2 Engine Company ’ s .
Personnel : Our department boasts a dedicated team of 31 firefighters , including 6 highly trained Paramedics . We are working on becoming an ALS QRS EMS Agency . Our Goal is to offer the highest level of care to our community .
Call Response : In just the first month of our new staffing model , our team demonstrated its adaptability and readiness by responding to a total of 102 calls , showcasing the range of services we provide . This includes 5 fires , 67 EMS calls , 3 hazard calls , 4 service-related calls , 14 good intent calls , and 9 false alarms .

These accomplishments represent a significant milestone for the Millcreek Township Fire Department , as we continue to evolve and improve our services to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our community .
