Whether it be their health, school, or caregiving,
you want the best for your child. Parents rely on
individuals they can trust to make sure they get
the best care possible.
The ASHI (American Safety and Health Institute)
Child and Babysitting safety training course is
designed to focus on caring, supervising and
keeping children and infants safe in babysitting
settings. This program provides fundamental
information in the business of babysitting, proper
supervision and basic caregiving skills, and
responding properly to ill or injured children and
infants.
Students will learn the fundamentals for
safety and protection of those in their care.
Attendees will also learn the right steps for
dealing with difficult children, and those
who don’t get along. This course will give
students the information that they need to
respond appropriately to an emergency. Steps to
answering the phone, and the door while you are
the caregiver in charge, and steps for caring and
feeding a baby (those younger than 1 year), are
included in this course.
Millcreek Paramedics Service will be holding
a Child and Babysitting class on Saturday, March
