Based on one of Roald Dahl’ s poignantly quirky stories, the show features a wickedly tuneful score and a witty and charming book. This adventurous musical about courage and self-discovery follows James as he befriends a collection of singing insects and together they ride in a giant piece of fruit to the depths of the ocean and the height of the Empire State Building. Little Leaves is a movement, story and art program for ages 5 and under at the LEAF Education Center. Each program explores a naturefocused theme and features a special storytime with lots of opportunities to move and wiggle and sing. The storytime is followed by an open-ended, process-oriented art experience where adults and children can have fun experimenting together with an array of art materials. The programs have been designed with the intent of offering a playful and creative environment for all children 5 and under( with parent / caregiver participation).
