MILLCREEK TOWNSHIP NEWS
Charged with fostering a dynamic, attractive, and economically healthy township, the department helps shape how Millcreek evolves while preserving the qualities that make it a desirable place to live. Through the Embrace Millcreek Comprehensive Plan, land development regulations, and collaboration with community partners, staff work to enhance quality of life, encourage well-designed development, and protect natural resources. Just as importantly, the department promotes open dialogue on planning issues and ensures that each new development meets the community’ s established standards. Together, these efforts help create a township that is prepared for the future while staying true to its character.

Matt Waldinger, Director of Planning and st
Development for Millcreek Township, is in his 31 year of service to the residents of Millcreek. He began with the township Engineering Department in 1995, working in the field for 18 years as a survey technician and draftsman. In 2014, after assisting for several years, Matt started full-time planning work, reviewing subdivisions and land developments, and conducting ordinance reviews and revisions. He was heavily involved in the Embrace Millcreek comprehensive
