As Fall approaches, this issue of IN Millcreek reflects how far our Township has come and the endless possibilities that lie ahead.
As Millcreek’ s population has grown, so have the services we provide. Millcreek Police, Millcreek Fire, and the Volunteer Fire Companies continue to provide unparalleled public safety services.
The Communications and Sustainability Department reaches more residents than ever with informative monthly newsletters, up-to-date social media content, and increased website mobility. The Planning and Engineering Departments have made huge investments in stormwater management.
In Public Works, the heroes in our Streets Bureau cleared the snowy roads, the Sewer Bureau kept our pipes flowing, while Traffic Bureau made intersections safer for all drivers.
As we move forward, Millcreek has made giant strides in executing Millcreek ' s 2018 Embrace Millcreek comprehensive plan, which stressed the importance

of reinvesting and redeveloping our community assets.
The General Authority targeted the Gateway Corridor by leveraging Township resources and millions in grant funding to reinvigorate the entrance to Presque Isle. Parks & Recreation acquired 43 acres of green space and 40,000 + square feet for a Community Center building.
As Millcreek looks into the future, the Township is financially secure, retains minimal debt, and is prioritizing future tax revenue resources. Because of investments made, the future of Millcreek is safe and secure. The community has spoken, and we have listened!
This is your township, your home, and your community. Millcreek Township is proud to be the place people choose to live in Erie County.
