WINE & DINE IN THE WOODS
One of the most anticipated events of the year took place on July 12 at Asbury Woods ! More than 400 people gathered for Wine & Dine in the Woods , a unique experience in a beautiful natural setting . The staff of Asbury Woods , volunteers and 90 + sponsors came together to make it a lovely summer evening .
Fabulous food was provided by Cali ’ s West Catering , and flowers from Potratz Floral Shop & Greenhouses created a magnificent setting . Guests were entertained by Danny and the Daddios and cool beverages were served from Allegheny Beverage Company . A delicious wine selection was offered by the event planning committee and chair Jane McMaster .
Other notable sponsors included Barber National Institute , Erie Insurance , Lincoln Recycling-Erie , and of course all the members of the community who purchased tickets for the event .
The evening generated over $ 75,000 in support of Asbury Woods and its educational , environmental and outdoor recreational programming , along with maintenance of its 234 acres of gardens , trails and wetlands .
