HOW DO I GET STARTED ?
In order to become a volunteer , wish granters must be at least 21 years old and complete the onboarding process . Onboarding consists of an application , interview , detailed training session outlining the processes and expectations and a criminal background screening .
We are currently preparing for our fall training sessions ! Our chapter is offering two information sessions this summer to answer questions and provide additional details about this volunteer opportunity . Sessions are being offered virtually on Wednesday , July 26th at 4:30 p . m . and Thursday , August 10th at 5 p . m . Interested individuals can sign up for these information sessions by visiting wish . org / greaterpawv / vol or by calling 814.868.9474 . Information sessions are a great opportunity to learn more about the organization and what it means to help grant wishes .
