The playoff-bound Erie SeaWolves are headed down the home stretch of the 2023 regular season with big promotions on deck .
Friday , Aug . 25 – The SeaWolves take on the Bowie Baysox ( Baltimore Orioles ) and it ’ s “ Marvel ’ s Defenders of the Diamond Day .” The SeaWolves will wear special Marvel-inspired jerseys , and fans are encouraged to dress as their favorite Marvel Super Hero™ . After the game , fans will enjoy spectacular fireworks .
Saturday , Aug . 26 – The first 1,000 fans will take home a bobblehead of Detroit Tigers # 4 prospect Wilmer Flores thanks to DetroitCitySports . com .
Sunday , Aug . 27 – The first 1,000 fans ages 12 and younger will take home a SeaWolves Youth Jersey , thanks to the Erie Catholic School System .
Friday , Sept . 15 – A beautiful fireworks display will light up the skies above UPMC Park ! Don ’ t miss this one !
Saturday , Sept . 16 – The first 1,000 fans will take home a lightweight hooded pullover thanks to TONI & GUY .
Thursday , Sept . 21 – The first-half champion SeaWolves will host Game 2 of the Eastern League Division Series ! It ’ s the first time in franchise history that the ‘ Wolves are in the playoffs in consecutive seasons .

FEEDING THE COMMUNITY
The West Millcreek Food Pantry helps people with food insecurity in our area . With a staff of volunteers , it serves 125 families who live in the area bounded by Pittsburgh Avenue to Millfair Road , and from West 38th Street to 12th Street . With recent cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Program ( SNAP ), the number is growing .
West Millcreek Food Pantry ’ s clients include elderly members of the community , small children — especially those from single-parent families — and wage earners who are employed but whose salaries do not cover their living expenses adequately . The pantry is supplied with food donations from the community , which is greatly appreciated . However , donations of random food items do not always create a supply of
