Happy Fall Millcreek ! We hope you enjoyed everything Summer 2023 had to offer . The season was full of nature walks , calm waters for boating , hot days on the beach and fun at the new Millcreek Pickleball Courts ! As we move into the Fall there ’ s so much to look forward to ! Whether that ’ s Friday night lights at McDowell , the Homecoming Parade , the holiday season and plenty more .
In this magazine you will find information on the recently conducted Millcreek Made survey and some feedback from residents about how to improve community . Millcreek ’ s vision is to “ Cultivate a growing and inspired community of neighbors .” The feedback received helps us to do everything we can to reach that vision and support our mission , “ To serve the community of Millcreek Township .”
One community event that we love to do every year is the 4th of July Parade . The amount of residents that came out for the parades entire mile length is staggering . Seeing the community come together like that to have a great time is an experience unlike anything else . We can ’ t wait for the

next one and to explore how else we can build community .
Additionally , there are also two pages dedicated to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Organization ( NOAA ) proposal to create a National Marine Sanctuary off the shores of Presque Isle and Erie County . The “ Lake Erie Quadrangle ” has national support from Department of Commerce , Senators Bob Casey and John Fetterman , and Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro . This proposal is part of the Biden-Harris Administrations , “ Invest in American ” plan to help secure the Great Lakes region . If passed , this legislation would change , and preserve , the marine landscape of Erie County forever .
