• Focus on good nutrition and a healthy
weight. An ideal diet includes nutritious
selections from every
food group and limits
added sugar, sodium,
and trans fats. Try to

incorporating color, in the form of a
serving of a fruit or vegetable, into every
meal.
• Manage stress. In addition to aerobic
exercise, yoga and meditation offer
excellent ways to relax. Try to get 6 to 8
hours of sleep per night. It is important
to stay socially active and to share your
thoughts and feelings--and a few laughs-
-with a trusted friend. When faced with
a project or task, try to approach it one
step at a time, plan ahead to avoid feeling
