LifeWorks Erie provides relevant, contemporary programs,
services and lifelong learning opportunities that engage
individuals age 50 and older who are interested in staying
active mentally and physically and want to lead healthy,
vibrant lives.
Satisfy your curiosity with our Lifelong Learning Institute.
The institute provides education and information on a variety
of topics relevant to our members and the community. These
sessions include a variety of classes such as cooking,
gardening, wine, music, art, and technology to name a few.
At LifeWorks Erie you can stay physically fit with the many
classes we offer such as yoga, tai chi, weight lifting, cardio
workouts including walking.
Lifeworks Erie offers prevention and health management
classes. Members of our staff are certified in Chronic Disease
Self-Management, Diabetes Self-Management, Matter of
Balance, Healthy Steps for Older Adults and Powerful Tools for
Caregivers. LifeWorks Erie offers health screenings and health
education on various topics.
For over forty years, LifeWorks Erie has offered flu and
pneumonia vaccinations to the community. We offer clinics
throughout Erie County in an effort to make it easy for people
to access the flu vaccinations.
There are many social engagement activities at LifeWorks
Erie such as bingo, cards, dances, parties, trips and tours.
Individual annual membership to LifeWorks Erie is $25; for
