Mrs. McCloskey’s, Mrs. Dececco’s, and
Mrs. Ursiny’s 3rd grade classes, at Francis
McClure, explored the history of the Macy’s
Day Parade. The students researched the
history, discussed traditions, calculated
differences, read stories, and had fun with
a STEM challenge: make your own balloon
float! The Kindergarten and 1st grade were
great spectators as 3rd grade marched their
parade thru the hallway.
