BROADWAY SHOW“ CHICAGO: Teen Edition”
McKeesport Area Founders ' Hall Middle School Drama Club presented the musical“ CHICAGO: Teen Edition,” on Thursday, April 30, Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2 at the Francis McClure Elementary School auditorium in White Oak.
The story is a satire about two 1920s women jazz performers who murder their lovers, meet in jail, and compete for headlines as vaudeville entertainers in the roaring twenties. It showcases how the media can make celebrity stars from criminals, and how the criminal justice system was over a century ago. The teen version is scaled back a bit, but the themes and music are engaging and funny.

McKeesport Area School District at PMEA Junior High District Band
McKeesport Area School District is proud to congratulate( left to right): Lucas O ' Toole, Dalton Alexander, Jocelyn Orbin, Emma Cantu, and Denasia Brown who represented McKeesport Area School District at PMEA Junior High District Band held Saturday, May 2 in Connellsville.
The five were hand selected for their outstanding musical accomplishments in band. They played a concert with about 100 high level junior high band musicians from schools throughout southwestern PA.
