Dear McKeesport Area School District Staff Members, Parents / Guardians, and Community Members,

As we conclude the 2024- 2025 school year and get ready for the 2025- 2026 school year, I want to share how excited we are about the fresh start and the opportunities ahead. Preparations are underway, and we ' re doing everything we can to make sure the year begins smoothly for our students, staff, and families.

I ' m looking forward to working with our committed staff and supportive community to keep building a school district we can all be proud of. Your experience and involvement play a big role in helping create an environment where students can grow and succeed. We’ ll stay focused on what matters most: how we teach, how we support our students, and how we build pride in our schools. Strong relationships between the district and the community play a big part in that. When we work together, we give our students the tools they need to succeed, both in school and in life.

Good communication is key. Building strong, respectful connections among students, staff, and families helps create a school culture where everyone feels valued. As Superintendent, I’ m committed to making sure students have access to meaningful learning experiences that reflect their needs and prepare them for the real world. We’ ll continue working to give students the skills to think critically, speak up, and handle the challenges they’ ll face after graduation. Our curriculum should reflect the world we live in and help each student discover what they’ re good at and where they want to go.

I appreciate the support of our School Board, our staff, our families, and everyone who plays a part in helping our students. I’ m confident that, together, we can make the 2025 – 2026 school year a great one.
