Class of 2025
The Class of 2025 has been through a lot in their 18 years, including a pandemic, but the 210 seniors were ready to graduate on June 5th despite the sprinkling rain at the district’ s Weigle-Schaeffer Memorial Stadium. The evening’ s program featured speeches by the Senior Class President Breara Robinson, the Valedictorian Victoria Fast, and Salutatorian Maxwell Kwiecinski who all spoke about the experiences they had during high school and urged their fellow classmates to dream their dreams, but to live in the present each day to work toward those goals. Regardless of the setbacks, the road ahead is theirs. Student-selected speaker, Teacher Brad Braverman, spoke of his life experiences as well and encouraged them not to get discouraged, but to keep striving.
The band performed“ Pomp and Circumstance,” the traditional march as all of the seniors entered the stadium and for the graduates at the end of graduation when they marched out. The a cappella choir performed“ The Red and Blue” school song and“ The Irish Blessing” prior to the Acceptance of the Senior Class by Superintendent Donald MacFann. High School Principal Eric Harper and Assistant Principal Milan Kiska gave their remarks to the class and introduced the various speakers for the evening.
