In conjunction with Dick ’ s Sporting Goods , MASD was proud to host Summer Discovery Camp . This camp was a phenomenal summer opportunity for the students who attend MASD . We were able to support over 300 students who participated in the 6-week camp . Throughout the six weeks , campers went on numerous filed trips including the Carnegie Science Center , Pittsburgh Zoo , Children ' s Museum , and swimming at the White Oak Pool . Campers were also exposed to fishing and geocaching at Lake Emily , vocational opportunities such as culinary , auto body and cosmetology and learning about different cultures and countries .

McKeesport Area School District celebrated Homecoming with our annual parade and tailgate . This year the festivities took place Saturday , September 4 and saw a 7-6 Tiger win against The Woodland Hills Wolverines !
