SOUTHERN BUTLER COUNTY GARDEN CLUB TO PRESENT 18TH ANNUAL GARDEN TOUR
This year’ s Southern Butler County Garden Club tour will be held Saturday, June 27, from 9 a. m. to 3 p. m. There are seven gardens to be featured. Registration and event-day ticket sales will be from 9 to 10 a. m. at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center, 2525 Rochester Road.
Ticket holders will receive a wristband, along with a booklet of garden descriptions and driving directions. There will be an opportunity to win a door prize, and chances may be purchased to win several“ Garden Delight” raffle baskets. Stepping stones and pottery will also be available to purchase along the tour.
The proceeds of the event help fund horticultural programs in the area.
Get inspired by the private gardens and speak with homeowners about their gardening design and experience. Pre-event tickets are available for $ 20. Tickets purchased on the day of the tour will be $ 25.

FUN FORE ALL DONATES TO HIGHMARK CARING PLACE
The Highmark Caring Place received a $ 5,500 contribution from Fun Fore All Family Fun Park— raised through the park’ s Holiday Lights Mini Golf event— to support upgrades at its Warrendale location and better serve grieving families.
The presentation took place Feb. 11 and continues Fun Fore All’ s long-standing partnership with the organization, totaling more than $ 70,000 in donations since 2017.
MARK MACEDONIA RELEASES NEWEST NOVEL
Local author Mark Macedonia announced the release of his newest novel,“ Shadows in the Dragon’ s Lair,” published March 23.
The book is the second installment in a historical fiction trilogy featuring characters Frank Nash and Peggy Harrelson, continuing the thrilling espionage story begun in“ Silhouettes of the Dark,” which was published in December 2024.
This latest release builds on Macedonia’ s growing body of work and will once again appeal to readers who enjoy suspenseful, character-driven historical fiction. n
