MARS FARMERS MARKET

Highlights of the picnic will include

and Chuck Blasko (lead singer of The
Vogues) during the day.

GARDEN CLUB’S 11TH
ANNUAL GARDEN TOUR
Southern Butler County Garden Club will
be hosting the 11th Annual Garden Tour
from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 13. Get inspired
on this self-guided tour of a variety of private
gardens in the Cranberry Township, Mars
and Zelienople areas. Pre-sale tickets are
available now for $20. Send a check payable to

Tickets on the event day are $25 and

1964 REUNION
The Hampton High Class of 1964 (55th
year reunion) activities will begin with
a “Celebration of the Sixties” picnic on
Tuesday, June 11, at the 4Seasons Banquet
House, located at 2361 Banks School Road
in Hampton Township.

GREYBROOKE GARDEN CLUB
Greybrooke Garden Club, whose
members reside in various communities
of the North Hills, will meet Wednesday,
May 8, in the Fellowship Hall of Parkwood
Presbyterian Church, 4289 Mt. Royal
Boulevard, Allison Park. The business
meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. Refreshments
will follow the meeting and precede the day’s
program by Jim Bonner, Executive Director,
Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania.
Guests are welcome!
On Saturday, May 11, the club will hold
a Hanging Basket Sale from 9 a.m.–2 p.m.
at McCandless Crossing, in the grassy
area near Bonefish Grill and between Old
Navy and Ethan Allen. Also available for
purchase: herbs, garden décor, and a variety
of decorative pots and containers, some
that will contain plants for use at home or to
give as gifts. A Children’s Corner will also be
featured at the sale!
Proceeds from the fundraiser help support
the garden club’s annual donations to
conservancy groups and worthy community

PITTSBURGH MOE’S
SOUTHWEST GRILL
DELIVERS FIRST GRANT
FROM NEW ‘COMMUNITY
SUPPORT PROGRAM’
The owners of Moe’s Pittsburgh rolled
out a new Community Support Program
earlier this year that focuses on donating
over $200,000 to local nonprofits,
schools and community groups. In
March, Moe’s officials delivered a check
of $1,700 to MHY Family Services for
the new Therapeutic Swim Program,
slated for summer.
Through the generous support of Moe’s,
MHY will introduce the new program that
will allow the children it serves to develop
