This 34.55-acre park was recently improved and features a pond with a fishing pier, a house with kitchen facilities, a picnic pavilion with tables and grills, walking trails and a small play area. Love history? Make an appointment to take a tour of the Stewart / Schlag log house, built around 1800. Behind the fishing pier, a 34-foot by 11-foot concrete patio was added that eventually will be surfaced with commemorative granite pavers that are being sold to raise money to buy new playground equipment for the park.
