Never stop pursuing what you want. You will
have hurdles every day. But you just have to
go on to get to what you want.
Perhaps even more impressive — and also exciting news for
Pittsburgh — is her latest project. O’Neil is developing a police
detective drama that will be shot entirely in Pittsburgh, using
Pittsburgh actors. She just received approval from Mayor Peduto
on Jan. 28 for shooting in the area.
“It will have a feature film as well,” explains O’Neil, who says the
drama will be very realistic, but is not a reality series. “My cowriter, Parker Reed, was a real investigator with the Pittsburgh
Police Department.” His expertise will lend an air of authenticity
to the drama as he will function as both a consultant and
scriptwriter. The name of the series will be 1-2-Zero-3 Western
Avenue, the actual address for the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police
Investigative Branch.
The series will not only focus national attention on Pittsburgh,
but should be great for the region economical H\
