Hydref, which means “autumn” in Welsh, was
started to commemorate the Welsh heritage
of some of our early settlers. Traditionally,
the entire town and countryside joined in the
annual Market Faire. You will meet skilled
18th century craftspeople, re-enactors and
“sutlers” (purveyors of 18th century goods).

Youth Open House will consist of historic
campus tours, giveaways, raffles, family
activities such as face painting, hayrides,
and other entertainment, along with snacks

The fun festivities kick-off with a parade
followed by an opening ceremony! Don’t miss
The Frank J. Farina Memorial Car Cruise at
North Allegheny Intermediate High School
and performances by Center Stage, Michele’s
Dance Studio or a puppet show from
Pittsburgh Puppet Works. The celebration
also features music by the Red Hot Ramblers,
El Dorado, Kardaz Brothers, Chuck Blasko,
The Vogues and The Allegheny Brass Band.
Also included are food and community
vendors, rides, games and children’s activities,
