Willow Wonderland returns on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 2 to 6 p. m. This outdoor( rain or shine) holiday event will have music and entertainment, vendors, crafts, a gingerbread house contest, photo booth, food trucks, and games.

Green Tree Public Library Football Scavenger Hunt On Monday, Nov. 3, from 10 a. m. to 8 p. m., drop by anytime to participate. All kids who finish the scavenger hunt will win a prize. No registration is required, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
Tail Waggin’ Reads & Crafts On Saturday, Nov. 15, from 10:30 to 11:30 a. m., there will be a visit from a special dog friend who loves to have children read to her. There will also be crafts! Registration is required at greentreepl. librarycalendar. com.
Dormont Public Library Teens Mural Workshop For those who love art, ages 12 – 18, you might want to participate in the Teen Mural Group, which plans and works on the mural for the library.
If you’ re interested in joining, ask the library staff for more information. Workshops are held on Saturdays, and you may be able to earn community service hours for your participation.
YES Seniors Seated Yoga
If you’ ve wanted to participate in yoga but were daunted by the potential for difficult poses, this class might be for you.
You can increase your strength, flexibility and balance with this one-hour seated yoga class taught by a certified instructor on Mondays.

FORTY-YEAR REUNION!
The Keystone Oaks High School Class of 1985 will celebrate its 40-year reunion on Saturday, Nov. 29, at the Loft Conference Center Southpointe in Canonsburg. There will be a cash bar with a deejay, and attendees are invited to dress in’ 80s style attire or chic casual.

GREEN TREE NATURE CENTER TRAILS
There’ s still time to explore the Green Tree Nature Center before the snow. It’ s located at 1214 Greentree Road, but the entrance is at the corner of Hillcrest Avenue and Crestmont Drive.
This forest escape is located right in the middle of an urban area, offering 18 acres of native plants, trees and walking trails. Your walk might include the occasional appearance of a deer, fox or wild turkey, not to mention lots of birds and other small forest creatures. If you haven’ t discovered this natural oasis, it’ s time to plan a visit.
