THE 2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR IS OFF TO AN EXCITING START!

n Monday, August 26, Keystone
Oaks welcomed 1,775 students in
grades 1 through 12 for the first day
of the 2019-2020 school year.
Keystone Oaks High School students
were greeted by the Keystone Oaks Golden
Eagle, a gold & white balloon archway, and
an enthusiastic Mr. Linnert and High School
faculty members. Dormont Elementary
students walked through a color styrofoam
walkway on their way to homeroom. Aiken
Elementary students played an exciting
school-wide game of Rock, Paper, Scissors.

Myrtle Elementary students were greeted
by an over-sized “Happy First Day” lawn
sign. The Middle School finished the
week with a school spirit-filled assembly
featuring the High School Marching
Band Drum Line, Middle School & alumni
cheerleaders, their own Rock, Paper,
Scissors tournament, and more!
Two days later, 163 kindergarten
students entered our elementary
buildings for their first day at Keystone
Oaks. During their transition week, these
students became familiar with their
classroom routines, learned how to order
lunch and eat in the school cafeteria, and
made many new friends! When they
start full day kindergarten and get to
experience art integration, STEAM, music
and library classes, and so much more!
