Ryan McKenna is the managing director of Northwestern Mutual South Hills . He owns the building at 1928 Cochran Road that many in the area will remember as the former Colony restaurant site . Ryan sees the opportunity to use that space for his two main business passions : financial planning for his clients and creating amazing career opportunities for others in the same field . He is also excited to use the property for community-based charitable events , food trucks , pop-up breweries , and more . He feels this general corridor of businesses in the South Hills is poised to develop much further in the near future .
As a wealth management advisor , Ryan is focused on providing a range of planning services and starts with a conversation to understand his clients ’ goals . The combination of technology and a personal relationship is key . Ryan and his team are very responsive in all seasons .
As the office leader , Ryan is driven to identify and mentor talented individuals in all roles . Due to the team ’ s overall growth , the company is looking for additional financial planning support personnel , interns for an award-winning year-round program , and candidates for the financial advisor development program . Ryan works closely with his leadership team , a mix of growth and development directors , college unit directors , and the director of recruiting and development . Ryan McKenna lives near the Northwestern Mutual office in Mt . Lebanon with his wife , Erin . They have two daughters , Charlotte and Audrey , who love Irish dance , music , art , and nature . His daughters will be featured in the upcoming Ave Maria Academy spring musical , “ Newsies , Jr .”
