Originally from the North Side , Phil resides in the South Hills with his two children . Opening an office in nearby Brookline , with its current revitalization , just made sense , he said , and allows him to continue giving back to the community . His agency is also the Charter Organization for a local Cub Scout troop and wants to be a benefit to the community where his business resides .
“ My late wife Kimberly , who passed away almost three years ago from a four-year battle with metastatic colorectal cancer , and I were very involved with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society ,” he said . “ Our son was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia at 8 months old , and had a bone marrow transplant by his first birthday . We hope to continue to be one of the top Light the Night Walk fundraising teams in memory of Kimberly .”
