Spend some time with your kids in nature and learn something
new! The Lost Ladybug Project tracks the changing ladybug species
distribution across North America. Over the past 20 years several
native ladybugs have become extremely rare, ladybugs from other
places have greatly increased their numbers and range, and some
ladybugs are simply found in new places. Join the OC staff in finding
out where all the ladybugs have gone so people can try to prevent
more native species from becoming so rare. This session will teach
participants how to identify different species of ladybugs and submit
what they find to scientists. $5.00 per family. Visit the website for
more information.
