DORMONT STREET AND MUSIC FESTIVAL 2025!
One of the most anticipated events of the year will take place on Saturday, Oct. 11, on Potomac Ave. with the Dormont Street and Music Festival. Local stores on the street stay open, there’ s great food and drink, and you can listen to fantastic live music from local bands and performers, including School of Rock, Rhythm of the Night Fusion, The Regal Sweet, Anne Eliza and Osprey. GREEN TREE NATURE CENTER TRAILS
Explore the Green Tree Nature Center, approximately located at 1214 Greentree Road. The entrance is at the corner of Hillcrest Ave. and Crestmont Dr. This forest escape is located right in the middle of an urban area, offering 18 acres of native plants, trees and walking trails.

OCTOBERFEST IN GREEN TREE!
The Green Tree Borough Octoberfest is one of the most popular fall festivals in the area, with live entertainment, rides, games, craft vendors, and of course, lots of wonderful food. This year’ s event will take place Saturday, Sept. 13, at Green Tree Park from 11 a. m. to 8 p. m., ending with a spectacular fireworks display!

4OTH KO REUNION!
The Keystone Oaks High School Class of 1985 will hold its 40-year reunion on Saturday, Nov. 29, at the Loft Conference Center Southpointe in Canonsburg.
There will be a cash bar with a deejay, and attendees are invited to dress in’ 80s-style attire or chic casual.

TIME TO GARDEN!
The Green Tree Garden Club has great activities year-round, including field trips to other area gardens in the summer. Reservations are required for all field trips, and guests pay a fee for transportation and lunch.
The club also offers interesting programs and expert advice from people who have been gardening for many years.
