New Version of the Allegheny County Libraries Mobile App!
The library is excited to announce the release of the new version of the countywide library app! This update brings a host of new and improved features designed to enhance the user experience and provide patrons with greater ease and functionality.
Download or update the app for your Android or IOS device! Visit the library website for a download link.
Once you have downloaded the app, select your home library to see the resources offered.
Library Donations Accepted
The library accepts donations of gently used newer books, audiobooks, DVDs, music CDs, puzzles, board games and video games. Please place items in the GRAY DONATION BIN near the lower level elevator entrance. Donations are added to the library’ s collection or sold at the Friends of the Library book sales to support the library.

CHILDREN’ S PROGRAMS
BOOKWORM BABIES Mondays at 11 a. m. July 7 – Aug. 4 Bounce, sing, and hear a story! Specially designed for caregivers and their children 6-18 months. Registration is not required.
TIME FOR TOTS Wednesdays at 11 a. m. July 7 – Aug. 4 Storytime specially designed for toddlers and their grown-ups! Hear stories, sing songs, and there may be a special activity! This program is designed to promote early literacy skills for ages 18-36 months with an accompanying adult. Registration is not required.
PRESCHOOL STORYTIME Thursdays at 11 a. m. July 10 – Aug. 7 Join in every Thursday for Preschool Storytime at the library. Listen to stories, sing songs, and sometimes have a craft! Designed to promote early literacy skills for ages 3-5. Registration is not required.
LEGO CLUB July 12 and Aug. 2 at 3:30 p. m. Ages 5 – 12 Visit the library for a chance to create something awesome! Lego bricks will be provided. All creations built must be deconstructed and put away at the end of the event. Registration is not required.
MEET THE ARTISTS Mondays at 3:30 p. m. July 7 – 28 Ages 5-10 Join in on Mondays to explore different artists every week! Learn about an artist and then create your own art inspired by that artist’ s creations! Registration is requested.
EUREKA! FULL STEAM AHEAD! Thursdays at 3:30 p. m. July 10 – Aug. 7 Ages 8 – 12 The library is going to take a look at the creativity available in STE( A) M programming on Thursdays. Come build and learn together! Registration is requested.
ALLEGHENY COUNTY PARKS VISIT Aug. 4 at 3:30 p. m. Ages 5 – 12 Allegheny County park rangers will discuss Animal Coloration & Camouflage. Come and learn! Registration is requested.
SUMMER READING FINALE PARTY Aug. 12 at 3:30 p. m. All Ages One last party to celebrate all the amazing art we’ ve seen and made, and the books we’ ve read this summer! Join the library for a send-off of Summer Reading 2025. There will be snacks, crafts and games! Registration is requested.
