The Lake Shore Railway Museum is open for tours Friday through Sunday, from noon to 4 p. m. In addition to an array of historical items inside, you can view the train cars outside during daylight hours. There’ s always something new being added.

BLUE STAR MOTHERS IN ERIE
A very dedicated local group of military moms has officially chartered a chapter of the national organization, Blue Star Mothers of America. The members of Presque Isle Blue Star Mothers support each other and their loved ones in service to our country, many of whom serve overseas.
The group participates in local parades, Wreaths Across America, and collects presents for soldiers and sailors.
Blue Star Mothers is a non-profit, non-political organization of mothers, stepmothers, grandmothers, foster mothers, and female legal guardians who have children serving in active military, the National Guard, the reserves, or are veterans. Members support each other and their loved ones while promoting patriotism. We are looking to profile students who are excelling in a particular high school sport. Please email editors @ icmags. com. To be considered, the email subject line must say HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETE FOR( NAME OF HIGH SCHOOL) and you must submit a hi-res( 300 dpi, at least 1MB) photo of your child in uniform attached to the email.
