ROLLING RIDGE HOLIDAY LIGHTS
Take a walk through a dazzling light display at Rolling Ridge Elementary School at 3700 Ridge Parkway. The event takes place Dec. 5 – 7 and Dec. 13 & 14, from 6 to 8 p. m.
The hallways will be decorated in different themes, including Gingerbread Lane, Elves & Presents, Whoville, Mighty Fine Christmas, Candy Cane Lane, Elf on the Shelf, Land of the Snow People, and Winter Wonderland.
Tickets are $ 2 if preordered or $ 5 at the door.
SPEND CHRISTMAS AT THE STATION!
Take an imaginary trip back in time when travelers were heading out from the train station in North East to their Christmas destinations more than a century ago.
Visit the Lakeshore Railway Museum on Dec. 6 & 7 from noon to 4 p. m., where you can have lunch in the dining car from 12 to 2:30 p. m. and there will be Speeder Car rides and craft vendors present throughout the day.
No tickets or reservations are needed. Don’ t miss this special time of year to visit this local treasure.

HARBORCREEK HISTORICAL SOCIETY ANNUAL OPEN HOUSE
The Harborcreek Historical Society will hold its annual Open House on Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Gifford- Blanchfield House. See the new exhibit,“ Swirling, Twirling & Marching,” that explores the history of bands.
Former music instructor and band director Ken Berlin will be on hand from 10:30 a. m. to 12 p. m. to greet former students and colleagues.
This is a great time to visit the historic Gifford-Blanchfield House with family members and friends. It will be open from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m.

‘ COME HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS’ WITH ERIE PHILHARMONIC!
A cherished holiday tradition returns with an evening of holiday classics. The Erie Philharmonic, the Philharmonic Chorus and the Erie Philharmonic Youth Choirs will join with dancers from Mercyhurst University and Broadway star Blaine Krauss in a festive celebration of the season, under the masterful direction of Daniel Meyer.
This family-friendly event is an annual tradition for many area families, with a carol sing-along and favorite holiday tunes. There will also be a visit from Santa!

NORTH EAST CHORAL CLUB CONCERT
The North East Choral Club Christmas concert,“ We Goin’ Up to Bethlehem,” will be presented on Friday, Dec. 12, at 7:30 p. m., and on Sunday, Dec. 14, at 2 p. m. at the Park United Methodist Church in North East.
