FRIENDSHIP DAY AT THE
DEPRECIATION LANDS MUSEUM
On Sunday, May 21, from 1 to 4 p.m., visitors to Hampton’s
Depreciation Lands Museum experienced history in real life as they
visited with costumed interpreters and colonial craftsmen in the
museum’s small pioneer village during Friendship Day.
Attendees also enjoyed free concerts of music from the late 18th
and early 19th centuries, presented by the Pittsburgh Historical
Music Society Orchestra. These musicians are dedicated to
performing historic music on period instruments.
