GREYBROOKE GARDEN CLUB PROGRAMS
Regular meetings of Greybrooke Garden Club are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 9:30 a. m. in the Fellowship Hall of Parkwood Presbyterian Church, located at 4289 Mt. Royal Boulevard in Hampton Township. Members reside in various communities of the North Hills and guests are welcome at all meetings. A business meeting precedes refreshments and the monthly program. BE A PART OF THE 2017 GREAT AMERICAN CLEANUP OF PA
The 2017 Great American Cleanup of PA began on March 1 and will end on May 31. During this period, registered events can get free trash bags, gloves and safety vests from PennDOT district offices, as supplies last. Events can be litter cleanups, illegal dump cleanups, beautification projects, special collections and educational events. To receive free cleanup supplies, you must register your event through the Great American Cleanup of PA website at gacofpa. org.
As part of this event, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and Pennsylvania Waste Industries Association are sponsoring Let’ s Pick It Up PA— every day from April 18 through May 8. During this time, trash collected at registered events can be taken to participating landfills free or have reduced-cost disposal with prior approval.

PAINTING WITH A TWIST HOSTS FREE SCAVENGER HUNT
Painting with a Twist will be hosting a free local neighborhood scavenger hunt on April 29. All studios in the western Pennsylvania region will be participating, making it a great way to meet your local studio owners as well as local businesses— and have fun doing it! Each studio will have its own unique set of rules and prizes to promote the fun in their respective neighborhoods. An after-party will follow to keep the night alive! Even if you’ ve never Painted with a Twist, contact the studio nearest you to find out what all the fun is about! What Twist will they throw your way?
Teams will be groups of two, three or four, and drivers must be 18 years or older. Bring a person who has never before Twisted and score extra points! Neighborhood knowledge will win you the most points, so contact your local studio for more information: Pittsburgh- North in Wexford( 724.426.2935).
HOPE HOSPICE SEEKS VOLUNTEERS
Hope Hospice is looking for volunteers to visit hospice patients, either in patient homes or in a facility. To simply listen or reminisce with someone who is dealing with a lifethreatening illness can make a big difference! A one-hour training program is provided, with an emphasis on compassionate care toward patients and their families, and the time commitment is flexible.
