SEPTEMBER IS LOVE YOUR LIBRARY
MONTH
Northern Tier Library will be holding several events throughout September for the Love Your Library campaign , including a Fall Mum Sale and a month-long Used Book Sale ! All funds raised at this Love Your Library event qualify for a prorated match donation from the Buncher Foundation .
Please visit us during the month to look at our used books for sale and remember that all proceeds boost our Love Your Library donation total !
MAMMA MIA DISCO PARTY
Calling all Dancing Queens ! Join the chorus and sing along , word-for-word , to your most cherished ABBA hits as you indulge in the adored musical movie adaptation , Mamma Mia , on Saturday , Sept . 28 at 3 p . m . This fun , upbeat party will have you laughing and singing . Disco outfits encouraged ; refreshments served . Raffle baskets , and a prize for best costume . Tickets are $ 20 a person and all proceeds go towards our Love Your Library grand total .
LOCAL BOOK CLUB TRIVIA BONANZA ! Thursday , Sept . 19 at 6:30 p . m .
Your favorite local libraries are teaming up for a fun evening of celebrating our local neighborhood book clubs ! All trivia is based on popular reads , oldies but goodies , celebrity book clubs , book to film etc .! BYOB ( corkage
fee ) and snacks ! $ 10 pp , teams of 8 or less . Check our website for more information and registration . All proceeds benefit the Hampton , Northern Tier and Shaler Libraries !
PITTSBURGH CLASSIC MOVIE CLUB

Join us and the Pittsburgh Classic Movie club on Monday , Oct . 21 at 6:30 p . m . for a showing of the classic film Night of the Hunter ( 1955 ).
FAMILY ACTIVITIES Halloween Celebration
Come to the library on Tuesday , Oct . 29 from 5:30 to 6:30 p . m . for some outdoor Halloween fun ! There will be trick-or-treating , spooky take-home crafts , and a costume parade . This event will be held outdoors , and is weather permitting . In case of rain , it will be hosted inside the library .
This program is for children of all ages , and registration is required .
Hamiltunes : a party for Hamilton fans Calling all Hamilton musical fans ! We ’ re going to party like it ’ s 1779 so join us for songs to sing along to , crafts , light refreshments and more on Saturday , Oct . 5 at 1 p . m . Come in costume if you like , but you must register in advance to be in the room where it happens !

Memory Caregivers Support Group Many in our lives experience memory issues . Northern Tier Library will be joined by Erin McMaster , Memory Care Advisor from Arden Courts , as she hosts a group for all to come and share their experiences taking care of those with memory loss .
