Bob picked the right doctor for better health Having Robert Fetchero, DO, as his primary care doctor close to home made staying healthier easier for Bob Murphy. But there was a time when Dr. Fetchero took lessons from Mr. Murphy. “I’ve been seeing Dr. Fetchero for a long time, but I’ve known him since he was my student at Jeannette High School,” said Bob. Bob Murphy was a social studies teacher and guidance counselor for 42 years. He was also the athletic director and football coach. Dr. “Fetch” was a quarterback/LB/DB on the football team. Later, he returned to become team physician, while Bob was head coach. “Dr. Fetchero has done a wonderful job caring for our student athletes,” said Bob. Bob is retired now, but he is proud to see his former student succeed as a doctor, and happy to be his patient. “Dr. Fetchero is an excellent diagnostician and has a wonderful personality. He is very upfront in sharing his thoughts and has taken good care of me,” said Bob. “He is great at treating me.” Bob takes his doctor’s advice to exercise daily and watch his diet, to keep his heart strong. “Thankfully, I don’t have any serious issues at this stage of my life,” he said. He and his wife, Kathy, enjoy life and still follow the Jeannette Jayhawks. Bob is also pleased to see a new AHN neighborhood hospital coming to Hempfi eld. “It will certainly be convenient. It looks like it’s going to be some facility,” he said. 80% OF OLDER ADULTS HAVE AT LEAST ONE CHRONIC CONDITION* * https://www.ncoa.org/news/resources- “I’ve gotten the best health care for many years.” BOB MURPHY Allegheny Health Network (AHN) complies with applicable Federal civil rights laws and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability or sex in its health programs and services.
